NEW YORK AT CHRISTMAS

HIGHLIGHTS:    Dinner at Lattanzi's,  3 nights New York at the Marriott Marquis, Tour of Lower Manhattan, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Two Top Broadway Shows, Shopping on Fifth Avenue, and lots more ... 6 Meals

 

DAY 1...  There is nothing quite like New York for the holidays...and away you go during the festive Christmas season. Our first night's stay is in Fredericksburg, Virginia and we have time to get better acquainted with our fellow travelers at our gala Welcome Dinner.  (D)

DAY 2...  After breakfast, we motor up the eastern seaboard through Maryland, Delaware, & New Jersey and cross the Hudson River through the Lincoln Tunnel and into downtown Manhattan. The atmosphere is festive as we arrive in "The Big Apple", checking into the lovely Marriott Marquis, situated in the center of Times Square and the Theatre District.  Dinner is set at Lattanzi, one of the top places along Restaurant Row.  Later, if you like, why not walk to Rockefeller Center to see the city's huge Christmas Tree, and the ice skaters dancing nearby (B,D). 

DAY 3...  Our first full day in New York City...perhaps you wish to shop on Fifth Avenue, or go to Macy's, or take a carriage ride in Central Park!    The evening is highlighted by one of the top musical productions along Broadway.  

DAY 4... While in New York during the holidays, the one thing that can't be missed is the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City,  & we have reserved seats this morning for you to see the Rockettes in this unforgettable performance. Our motorcoach will pick you up after the show, & the group will enjoy a delicious luncheon at the famed Tavern On The Green. It's our last night in New York, why not enjoy another hit Broadway musical, as we have special seating just for you!  (L)

DAY 5...  It's time to leave the hustle and bustle of Times Square and New York behind, so grab your gifts and packages and board our coach as we head south, through New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland, back to Virginia for our overnight.  It's been a joyful and fun trip, and we can all share these pleasant memories with each other at our Farewell Dinner.  (D)

DAY 6... We turn south back to our homes after the best of times on this trip to celebrate the Holidays in New York!  (B)
