BRANSON & THE OPRY BIRTHDAY BASH

HIGHLIGHTS:   Tunica, Branson with 3 shows, Afternoon Concert, Dinner at the Opryland Hotel, Tour of Music City, Birthday Bash & Celebration of the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, Lots More ...10 Meals

                   

OCT 5...We travel across Georgia and Alabama to Tunica, Mississippi for a stay at the Gold Strike Resort.  Dinner in the hotel, and you may want to try your luck in the casino. (D)

 OCT 6...Breakfast, and we are on our way, crossing the Mississippi into Arkansas.  Following the beautiful drive through the Ozark mountains, it brings us to Missouri and the village of Branson for a 2 night stay.  All aboard the SHOWBOAT BRANSON BELLE tonight for a sit-down dinner followed by a show. (B,D)

 OCT 7... We have a fun filled day ahead of with 2 more of the top shows for you to enjoy,  There will be time for shopping and exploring the old town of Branson in between showtimes.   The selection of shows will include DOUG GABRIEL for a morning show, and then the evening is highlighted by the famous SHOJI TABUCHI. (B,D)

OCT 8...Another beautiful drive across the Ozarks of Missouri, and western Kentucky, as we travel into Tennessee.  Nashville, known as "Music City USA", is home to one of Country Music's most cherished institutions...THE GRAND OLE OPRY.  And it will be celebrating its Birthday this weekend in one gala performance with many of America's greatest recording stars.  Dinner at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and time to enjoy the gardens and beauty of this resort.   The hotel is an attraction within itself, the atrium full of gardens, waterfalls, a river flowing through, entertainers performing, and so much more.  (B,D) 

OCT 9...This morning a local guide will board our coach for a narrated sightseeing tour of this most interesting city...Capitol Building, Music Row, Second Avenue, and many of the homes of recording stars.  You can stop in at the Hard Rock Cafe or stick your head in the Honky Tonks on Broadway.  This weekend is special with activities going on around the Opry House, and we enjoy an afternoon concert in the Acuff Theatre with a top country performer.  Dinner back at our hotel before we take our reserved seats for the 6:30pm celebration of the 84th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry.  There is no telling who may show up at this affair, but there will be many top recording stars present.  What a great evening and so exciting!!! OCT 10...Breakfast, and we travel back to our homes after an unbelievable musical experience in Branson and Nashville. (B)
